Llanrwst Town Council
Each year the Town Council sets aside a sum of money from which it makes donations to local good causes, organisations and occasionally, individuals and through which money, it is able to respond to certain appeals.
From this money, the Town Council makes an annual donation to seven organisations whose work and activities are considered of significant benefit to the Town and Community.
In addition, the Council receives and responds to a number of one-off applications for grants or donations. These are considered on their individual merits and, where approved, are limited to a maximum grant of £1000.
If your local organisation, group or charity is contemplating an application for such funding, the Council’s current policy and conditions can be viewed on this website under the “Documents” tab – Addendum D to the Council’s Financial Regulations – title: Policy on Grants and Donations
